Party Music Events - Jessica Villalobos & Maytee Gomez Ramirez -DO NOT HIRE THEM

They will misrepresent their services, short items you paid them for and will care less to send a manager/technician to your event. We UTTERLY REGRET hiring them. Inspite of bringing this to their attention and requesting a resolution, they have refused to resolve our grievances and trying to deploy scare tactics so we dont public review them. Here are the details:
We hired them for THREE NIGHTS to provide audio/visual equipments inc Mic, speakers, DJ booth, dance floor, dancers and entertainers, fireworks, uplighting and colorwash/beams for a total of $4600 and paid vendor fees of $800 on their behalf. We sent this email with detail of each nights issues, in response first they tried to deflect the issues and tried to offer us $170 refund. We refused that refund and asked for them to take accountability of their lack of services and items they didn't deliver or that didn't work but they responded with scare tactics to convince us not to leave a public review. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Welcome Night: **** (4 Stars/5Stars)
Setup was done good and correct on beach before the event.
When we decided to move, Caesar was helpful but only offered to move one speaker and DJ controller. We said OK
Then I asked him to move uplighting and he said NO, can’t do. Then I paid him $100 TIP to which he immediately agreed and moved uplighting to new location. That is FINE, but I would have expected your team to be there to coordinate.
Then we resumed the party on dance floor, he brought back speaker and controller but not uplighting which was OK
However there was one problem: One of the TRUSS light was never turned on, Pics came dark. Here are examples: Ex1 Ex2: Ex3: Ex4: This made our pictures look dull and we didn’t get the benefit what we paid for
Second problem: We got only one mic, the contract says two mikes. We couldn’t do our acts and speeches asnd had to run around with one mic.
Because of these two problems, I give 4stars out of 5 but we expect a refund of $200 for missing light and mic.
Sangeet Night: **(Two stars/five stars)
The lights were set up incorrectly, even though we gave you a sketch which showed both lights have to be facing stage, see the sketch in Karim’s email. I reached early but Caesar said he can only move one light. So we had to depend on one light and 30-40% of the stage was pretty dark during performances but thanks to light from LED screen this wasn’t noticeable but it wasted half light efforts so that is reason for one less star.
NO TECHNICIAN FOR CONTROLLING LIGHT BEAM: The color wash/Light beam was a wasted benefit because there was nobody able to control the light beam and it constantly was shining to the roof right above it giving no special effect. Because it was a small room, this lack of proper effect was unnoticeable but had it been used properly it would have amplified the lighting and experience
NO INSTRUCTIONS TO COMIC CHARACTER: The character did not have any idea what he had to do. He was just told to dress up and go in the middle. His first act was extremely slow and lacking energy, It was supposed to make audience laugh,instead he got Booed.. and his second and third act were also not delivered as per our instructions. That was a BAD EXAMPLE OF POOR COMMUNICATION.
MAYTEE INTERRUPTED OUTSIDE MOVE: As per hotel we had to move one event to outside as it would get dirty inside, this venue was different so we had to adapt to it. I spoke with Caesar to move speaker and lights for Karim;s Pithi to outside which he started to do, then he told he he cannot do because he was TOLD NOT TO MOVE ANYTHING. I asked who said that,m he pointed to Maytee, I called Maytee and asked her why and she said that its NOT POSSIBLE and then I said I will be giving Caesar tips to which she said then OK, I dont have any problem. This was a very BAD EXAMPLE of the professionalism of your company. Instead of you accommodating with a small request of moving speaker and light for a few minutes, you have us a hard time and upon bringing up tips you then changed your policy shows that you did not care for our satisfaction or support to the experience. This is VERY VERY BAD. Anyways Caesar moved some lights and one speaker but it was too late as event was already half way so again our guests experience for this Karim Pithi event was poor and the interruption caused by Maytee left a poor taste in our mouth.
EMMA GROUP Show factor only 3/5 stars: Alan & Brazilian Batucada were a good team, they waited for their turn and performed their normal style, however they did not improve based join multiple requests I made to you in person meeting, and after that meeting. I had asked you several times to meet them so we can explain how to present their show, but they didn’t seem were properly cached or explained. so I give their performance only 3/5 stars. Had they coordinated the song w Karim and Zahra dance and performed to that version, that would have been a great impression. But this shows your LACK OF PROPER COMMUNICATION TO YOUR TEAM.
We sat down that night and I told you we need to fix the lighting issue and for tomorrow we need someone who speaks English and can communicate. You were mot present and you promised to speak w Jessica and send Caesar to Sunday. I found out last minute that he had not come there and this caused a NEW SET OF PROBLEMS ON RECEPTION DAY.
On this day too, the second set of Mic was missing
Due to lack of communication of character, Emma Team and interruption of events, We ask for 50% refund for Emma and Character and $50 refund for Mic - Total Refund about $175+$275+$50 = $500
Reception Night: *(One stars/five stars)
This event was the MOST important event for us and your team DROPPED THE BALL most here. Neither Maytee showed up NOR Caesar, inspite of us having a discussion the night before and promises made.
WRONG LAYOUT: The lights were set up again incorrectly, I had to message Maytee and speak to many people at the event to fix the location, this cost me over 45 minutes of valuable time when I was preparing for the event
NO ENGLISH SPEAKER TO COMMUNICATE: When I reached there was nobody representing PME, i then found two guys sitting in the back behind DJ and they didn’t event tell me they were w PME. They didn’t speak English or understand my partial spanish or sign language so I had to call one of my guests who speaks English and Spansih everytime to communicate. This was VERY VERY STRESSFUL and INCONVENIENT TO GUEST AND US.
NO TECHNICIAN TO SETUP LIGHTS: When I came, the lights were set up improperly, the beams were shooting in sky and the gazebo where the couple would sit was dark. I called in the tech after finding him, brought a guest to translate and made them fix the lights to point at stage and gazebo. Though we made changes, the way they set up the truss, didn’t let 2 of the LED’s be usable so that was a BAD START.
NO TECHNICIAN TO MANAGE LIGHTS: After event started, there was nobody to understand how to manage lights. We spoke at your office that during first dance we need the beams to control the lights and focus on bride and groom as they dance, your team did not understand this at all and we had to cancel that performance because of this.
LIGHTS & COMPUTER STOPPED WORKING FOR 30 MINUTES: After dinner, the LIGHTS SUDDENLY WENT OUT because your laptop went to updating mode and was unusable for 30 minutes, we were asking your team to speed up or do something, then after 25 minutes they went and manually started two lights, but 2 of the performances happened without light and this was extremely bad experience again. You can verify this with your team, the DJ & MC, the LED screen setup team as well
DJ Booth WAS NOT TURNED ON: At around 9pm I realized they had not turned on DJ booth, so I immediately asked one of your team and they tried for 10 minutes and then they turned the DJ booth on, so for 75% of the event, the DJ booth wasn’t active.
FIREWORKS not engaged: When I came in I saw your team has pasted fireworks on side beside speaker (WHO HAVE THAT LOCATION????) I asked them to remove and showed them the location at which they have to place at 9pm during he couples final dance. I was dealing with another matter with hotel people and I realized your team did not set up or engage the fireworks at 9pm. This is inspire of us telling them THREE TIMES> (The guest, Ms Sophia also explained to them location and time) but apparently they forgot to setup and engage the fireworks.
MISSING MIC: This was again a very very major inconvenience as the MC had to run around with the single mic we had.
Saxophonist: David was good and he perfumed well. He only did 20-30mins, but that is OK, as he did his best. So 4/5 stars for him.
Caricature Artist: He was also good and guests liked him, so even though you caused issues about his time, he did good, so 5/5 stars for him.
Due to the extreme lack of management by your team, not having a knowledgeable representative to setup and implement the agreed effects of light and fireworks and the stress caused by poor setup, lights being off and the fact that you did not consider it important for a PME representative to be on site to ensure all is going well, we were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. You can verify this with your team, the DJ & MC, the LED screen setup team as well. I am giving only 1 star, and I demand the refund for Fireworks, Light Beam, DJ booth, Mic and 50% of your fees for not being there during the event. The total refund is about $185+$50+$150+$200 = 585

I have video clips and photos from over a dozen guests that show I was running around with several people trying to fix lighting situation using help pf resort people and guests as well. This is the reason why we are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WAY YOU HANDLED THE COMMUNICATION> Each event should have had a manager to oversee SETUP, Transition and equipment and performers flow and experience is how it has been promised. Had you stayed there or found someone to be there to cover for you, ensured all information we have to you before events was properly implemented, we would have been satisfied event if some small issue happened outside your control but on last day the ISSUE WAS YOU, because if you would have been there, 90% of the issues would not have happened and timely addressed.
Groom: Additionally I am requesting a full refund for the sound and lighting equipment, as only one wireless mic was delivered (contractually obligated to provide two),
